Microscope 72 doesn’t look to be an original or even functional microscope. At some point in history, for some unknown reason, someone assembled this item with parts from different instruments. For example, the limb and sliding tube resemble the Henry Crouch histological model, the revolving nosepiece is from the well-known 19th century microscope maker Ross, from London, and the circular stage was commonly found in polarising microscopes.
